Why I made this
Returning home from my travels, I often imagined what it would be like if I treated weekends like vacations.
I've always loved the idea of planning local adventures as if they were local vacations in my city. The challenge was collecting those experiences without getting lost in maps or endless social media searches. I just wanted a simple day: brunch in a new neighbourhood, a good coffee, and something worth seeing on the way back. So I built Daytrip with smaller adventures close to home, and designed to fit right into a regular work week.
